My IOS 14 Wishlist

WWDC 2020 starts June 22nd. And you know what that means! IOS 14, iPadOs 14, WatchOS 14, MacOs whatever they’re going to call it. Instead of doing a drawn out article on what I’d like to see I’ve decided to do a short bullet list of my wishes. Due to Covid-19 and personal issues I just don’t have the heart this year to write a long article but I wanted to jot down my Wishlist because it’s something I do every year and I wanted to keep up with the tradition.

IOS 14 Wishlist

  • Widgets on the homescreen
  • Two apps on the same screen
  • iCloud Keychain manager

IpadOs 14 Wishlist

  • Fix split-keyboard and password insertion
  • Better multi-tasking
  • Widgets on the homescreen
  • iCloud Keychain manager
  • terminal or sandboxed vm  for development/programming

MacOs Wishlist

  • Better iMessage. Emulate what’s on the iPad or iphone
  • Better IOS/IpadOs app integration. Bring mobile apps to the Mac
  • A maintenance utility. Clean old files and do general system maintanence.
  • Desktop Widgets
  • Stability/Speed improvements
  • Fix Game controller support. I have to re-pair my Ps4 controller every time I pair it with my Mac.

WatchOS Wishlist

  • Sleep Tracking
  • Option to leave Now playing on and not go away

AirPods Wishlist (watch app on iPhone)

  • Battery health
  • Faster connection speeds
  • Reliablity. For some reason AirPods pairing between devices is a headache.
