Well, it’s finally happening! Beta sign-ups for RC Drift drivers and tracks have officially begun. Anyone who signs up for beta access will get a free lifetime paid membership and special badges for helping shape rcdriftempire.com.

Ever since I caught the RC Drift bug, I’ve been hard at work building a dedicated spot for the community to come together. This is a passion project that I believe has huge potential to uplift RC Drift tracks and drivers. Right now, it’s hard to figure out who is sponsored or how they got their start. News is scattered across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and you have to hunt just to find basic information. Did you know RC Drift even has its own magazine?

Tuning Yokomo servoIf you have even a slight interest in RC Drift, I want rcdriftempire.com to be more than just a website. I want it to be an empire where everyone feels welcome. It does not matter what your skill level is, how old you are, your background, or where you live. Whether you are building your first chassis or you have been drifting for years, this is your home base.

To protect this space and keep it focused on the hobby, I spent a massive amount of time building a rock-solid moderation system. This will not just be me watching over things. The platform is designed to be policed by the community itself. We are building a culture of respect from day one so drivers and tracks can thrive together.

Anyone who brings hate, drama, or negativity into the empire will immediately be put in a timeout. If they keep it up after that, they are permanently banned. I have absolutely zero patience or tolerance for toxic behavior. We are here to help each other grow, share our passion for RC drifting, and elevate the sport, not to tear each other down.

From RTR to upgraded everything

My main focus is the tracks. I believe the sport doesn’t exist without them. A few lucky drifters might have a giant warehouse to practice in, but if you’re like me, you just have a living room and a two-car garage. I have a ton of ideas to help provide multiple revenue streams for tracks and build followings for drivers. One idea is a scan-able “Pit Card” that gives people instant access to a driver’s or track’s page.

The Game Plan

Now that my beta drivers are picked, the next step is contacting tracks to see if they want to join in. I want rcdriftempire.com to grow organically. Since I am funding the website out of my own pocket, slow and steady growth is exactly what I prefer.

If you are a driver or a track and you want to get involved, you can sign up for the beta right now. Head over to rcdriftempire.com to claim your spot and help build this community from the ground up.
