I independently managed the redesign, migration, and modernization of the district’s legacy website, working directly with multiple departments to consolidate content and rebuild the public web presence. The project transformed a fragmented legacy environment into a centralized, scalable platform while improving usability, accessibility, and performance.

The legacy website contained over 630,000 links, including large numbers of outdated or defunct PDF documents and archived resources. I audited, migrated, and restructured content into the modern site architecture while eliminating obsolete assets. Special emphasis was placed on web accessibility standards to ensure the platform supported users with disabilities and aligned with modern public-sector accessibility expectations.

Due to limitations in the existing publishing platform, I designed and built custom PHP applications to extend functionality where the system could not support required features. These applications enabled dynamic content delivery, improved workflow automation, and provided district departments with tools to manage information more efficiently.

My work also included UX restructuring, department coordination, and accessibility optimization to ensure information was easy to navigate across devices. The project reduced technical debt from legacy systems while creating a maintainable publishing workflow for long-term district operations.
