National Military Family Association

I designed and developed a custom WordPress website for the National Military Family Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening and supporting military families through advocacy, resources, and community programs. Built on the WordPress platform, the site delivers an accessible, mission-driven experience optimized for storytelling, engagement, and resource discovery.

My role included UX/UI design, WordPress theme customization, front-end development, search engine optimization (SEO), and digital marketing strategy alignment. I structured the information architecture and content presentation to support SEO best practices—improving organic discoverability for high-impact terms related to military families, benefits, and support programs. Additionally, I implemented marketing-focused elements such as clear calls to action, newsletter sign-ups, and campaign-ready landing pages to support engagement and conversion goals.

By combining responsive design, performance optimization, and content marketing strategy, the site improved user experience and strengthened the organization’s ability to attract new visitors through organic search. These efforts contributed to audience growth over time and better supported the nonprofit’s outreach, resource distribution, and fundraising initiatives.
