My 2 Weeks With Python And Django

Well it’s been 2 weeks since I’ve been learning Django. I’ve built 2 Django projects and a ton of Python projects so far. The one thing I love about Django is the admin interface and Python. Me and Python just click.

There’s a couple of things that I had to get used to while working with Django. One was the project structure and the other is the MTV (Model, Template, View) architecture. I love how Django separates each piece of functionality into a folder which helps with keeping functionality separated.

I feel as though I have a good grasped of Django and had a good time building with it. While I had a blast building with Django I’m getting the urge to jump back into Ruby on Rails for a few projects. Why Ruby on Rails? Ruby on Rails is my favorite web framework and I haven’t built anything substantial with it for years.
